Javasettingsforyourcomputer.FromtheJavaControlPanel(accessiblefromthe

WindowsControlPanel),gototheGeneraltab.ClickSettingsintheTemporaryInternet

Filesarea.EnsurethattheKeep temporary files on my computeroptionisdisabledand

applythechange.

7 Whenyouaredoneconfiguringthepackage,clickNextintheConfigure Software Package

dialogbox.

8 TheconfigurationissenttotheEnterpriseServer.ClickFinishtoclosethedialogbox.The

configurationswillbeappliedwhenthepackageisdeployed.

Deploying the Configuration

OnceyouhaveconfiguredtheEnablersettings,deploytheconfigurationtothemobiledevice

fromtheAvalancheConsole.Toforcethemobiledevicetoconnecttothemobiledeviceserver

andretrievetheconfiguration,usetheEnablerinterfaceonthedevice.

Useoneofthefollowingmethodstodeploytheconfiguration:

• FromtheMobile Device InventorytabintheAvalancheConsole,right-clickonthedevice

towhichyouwanttodeploytheconfigurationandselectUpdate Now.

-Or-

• Fromthedevice,launchtheEnablerandselectFile > Connect.

Installing and Configuring the Windows Enabler

TheWindowsEnablerisdesignedtorunondesktopcomputersrunningWindows.The

installerfortheWindowsEnablerallowsyoutoconfiguretheEnablerduringinstallation.To

configuretheWindowsEnablerafteritisinstalled,clickStart

> Programs > Wavelink Avalanche > Avalanche Enabler Config.Forinformationonthe

optionsavailableintheConfigurationUtility,seeEnablerConfigurationUtilityonpage32.
